    Why use Kellogg's® Rice Krispies®?

As the first crisped rice cereal, Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies® has been bringing families together in the kitchen for over 80 years.

To experience the timeless flavor, make your Rice Krispies Treats® squares with the original Rice Krispies® brand cereal.

    Where to buy

1. In 3-quart saucepan, combine corn syrup and sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved and mixture bubbles. Remove from heat. Stir in almond flavoring. Add Kellogg's® Rice Krispies® cereal. Stir until well coated.

2. With back of spoon, press mixture evenly and firmly into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan coated with cooking spray. Sprinkle almonds on top (if desired).  Let stand until cool. Cut into 3 x 1 1/2-inch bars.

As a primary school teacher I would seek out the Rice Krispies Treats advertisements in the monthly magazines, especially at holiday times, and use the recipes for lessons involving all their multiple intelligences : reading, writing, math, artistic, tactile, and gustatory...great FUN and LEARNING was had by all. Wish I had known about this site sooner! What a great resource for teachers!
